PRN’s involvement in tobacco control is in many forms. As a health-related entity, PRN is very concerned that tobacco use not only damages the health of smokers, but to non-smoker as well, in addition to its negative socio-economic effects on the population. Since its early days, PRN has taken a serious view on tobacco control and putting it as an agenda it wished to prioritise. The effort was intensified with the setting up of the Clearinghouse for Tobacco Control (C-TOB) in 2001. C-TOB plays a significant role in coordinating and facilitating pertinent issues on tobacco control activities in the region and is internationally recognized. The followings studies were the efforts of PRN.
