The NPC handles inquiries related to poisoning management, primarily from national hospitals and clinics, but also from households and factories.

The center offers drug poison information training services for specialized groups, such as pharmacists, healthcare professionals, and pharmacy undergraduates, as well as industrial training for pharmacy undergraduates.

The NPC's Toxicology Laboratory is accredited and conducts chemical testing, including testing for substances like heavy metals, pesticides, and drugs. It also provides training and collaborates on research with other institutions.
